To order from the Skylines and Bylines Kitealogue:

The Kite Lady will be working throughout the holiday period
and deliveries will continue as usual.

To purchase kites from the Kitealogue you can email your name, delivery address, including post code, phone number, and the product/s you require. I will confirm the order by email with bank account details for payment by internet banking.

Usually email is checked daily, but the Kite Lady is often away from the keyboard working in the workshop, somewhere else, or driving, or walking the dogs - so your email or text will often not be replied to straight away.

If your order is urgent or required by a specific date, please let me know in the initial email, and I can then confirm whether or not this is possible.

Generally despatches happen at least twice a week, but will be daily until Xmas.

Goods are shipped with NZ Post and generally delivered to main centres in the South Island within 2 days and to the North Island in 3-5 days. However, if you are in a smaller centre, packages are passed on to local contract or rural drivers, this can take another day or two, depending on the contractor. Delays, due to Covid, weather and traffic can extend delivery times.

Prices for shipping may depend on the size of the package and always include tracking. Generally deliveries to the North Island are $25.00 and to the South Island $15.00. Rural Delivery is an additional $5.50. Once I receive your email order, I will be able to confirm your order and the shipping cost.

All prices quoted are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.

When making payment by direct credit you will need to keep a copy of your payment info as a receipt will not be issued with your order.

Once goods are despatched an email is sent to the purchaser advising tracking information. This may take a day or two, as tracking links don't always start working on the day of despatch.

I am keen to ensure that my customers are happy and would always prefer to have the opportunity to help you choose the right product for your needs or overcome any problems once your order has arrived. You can phone or email me if you have any queries.

If you are having trouble with assembly or knot-tying processes on your kite, I can often talk through these (by phone or email) to help make your kite flying experience successful. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need help with this.

We will replace or refund if:

  • goods do not arrive. Please email us if goods have not arrived as notified.
  • goods arrive damaged or incomplete. Please email us. You may be required to return the goods before we replace the order. The cost of shipping the goods back to us will not be reimbursed unless we have instructed you to do this.

You can cancel an order by emailing us.

  • If payment has been made but your order has not been shipped, we will refund you the purchase price.
  • If your order has been shipped, then you must return the unwanted products to us unopened and in their original packaging, at your risk and at your cost within 30 days of delivery. We will credit you with the cost of the product after it has been received and checked.

Please choose carefully. We are not obliged to refund for goods which have been used or not repacked in good order. These may be considered second-hand and the full price will not be refunded.

Once your order is despatched you will be added to the KiteShop mailing list. Emails are sent out to let people know what kite events are happening in their area and to let customers know about specials at the KiteShop. Emails always have an opt out clause, if you decide you don't want them.
