How to wind up your flying line ...

You have a handle and a bobbin of line

Tie the line to the handle first by putting the line through the hole in the handle.

You need to tie a good secure knot

Then wind up all the line around the handle.

This takes about 5 minutes and you will go round about 300 times!

Why do we tie the line on first?

If you don't have this knot tied securely and you let out all the line while you are flying the kite, it will keep on lifting and flying and you will lose it!
