How to tie a Square Knot

This is the most common knot used to make our kite kits and is the same knot you use to start tying your shoe-laces.

Take one piece over and around the other piece, which makes a half-hitch. Then do the same again, going over and through the loop created. When pulled tight this make a square knot, reef knot, double knot or granny knot.
